We Conserve Energy!

A great asset of Sedona-Oak Creek School District is the stunning natural beauty of our educational environment.  In this setting, we are especially committed to energy management practices that conserve and model efficiency for our students. The district utilized a Qualified Zone Academy Bondthrough the U.S. Department of Education to retrofit buildings to save electricity and water.
We partner with Pierce Energy Planning to maximize efficiency and savings for the district:  FY22 Quarter 2 Energy Report, SOCUSD_2February22.pdf.

Fusebox softwarecan be used by administrators and also by teachers with curriculum that can engage students to increase awareness and cultivate energy conscious habits. Fusebox provides an opportunity for each building to create their own dashboard, goals, energy action plan, competitions, and the ability to share and compare their information with other buildings.
